Day 6: A Film That Reminds You of Somewhere

Another Lynch Film.

Winter 2006. Erin and I drive to Chicago to watch David Lynch present a screening of his new movie, Inland Empire, at midnight at the Music Box Theatre. So after a 5 hour drive, we make it to Chicago in the snow, eat, wait out in the fuckin' freeezin' cold for an hour, enter the film, watch David Lynch step on stage under a red spot light to read a poem he wrote, and then watch his nutty 3 hour movie till past 3AM.
